Yes Absolutely yes. The REmake is, to date, one of the best games in the series, and it has withstood the test of time. If you play remastered, there's an option to change tank controls to something a little more modern; and there ARE maps. You obtain them the same way you would in say, RE2make. Ihave never played resident evil 7 before, as title implies. I am a big fan of re2 and re3, and picked up re8 on launch day. I thoroughly enjoyed it although it was very different than re2 and re3, and my favorite part about the game was the new game plus feature, which i heard is not present in re7. Ifyou can stomach fixed camera angles, tank controls, limited saves and a heavy emphasis on resource management, then RE1 Remake is a survival horror masterpiece. RE0 is still enjoyable for fans of RE1, but not as good.
